At Full Speed Ahead Consulting, we believe in the power of faith, purpose, and service to transform lives and organizations. Founded in 2020 by Dr. Jerinae McCollum Speed, our mission is to empower individuals and institutions to lead with integrity, grow through prayer, and achieve excellence in every area of life.
Our Story
Full Speed Ahead Consulting was born out of a desire to give back. After retiring with decades of experience in education and leadership, Dr. Speed and her team sought a way to share their wisdom and serve others. Through prayer and reflection, the vision for the company came to life—a consulting business rooted in faith and dedicated to helping others thrive.
In 2025, the journey expanded with the creation of the Triunity Prayer Pillows, a product inspired by Dr. Speed’s childhood memories of kneeling in prayer with her family. These unique triangular pillows were designed to encourage a deeper connection with God and promote a lifestyle of spiritual growth.

Founder/CEO
Dr. Jerinae Speed
Dr. Jerinae McCollum Speed is a dynamic leader, educator, and consultant with over two decades of experience in higher education, leadership development, and program management.
As the founder of Full Speed Ahead Consulting, she combines her passion for empowering others with her expertise in motivational speaking, grant writing support evaluating, and professional development.
Dr. Speed has a proven track record of mentoring future leaders, implementing impactful programs, and fostering inclusive environments that promote growth and excellence.
Throughout her career, Dr. Speed has held key leadership roles, including Director of TRIO programs, where she managed multi-million-dollar grants, developed innovative student support initiatives, and coached teams to success.
Her dedication to service extends beyond her professional life, as she actively volunteers, teaches, and facilitates biblical studies to inspire spiritual growth.
With a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and a lifelong commitment to empowering individuals and organizations, Dr. Speed continues to lead with faith, purpose, and integrity.
Co-Founder/Executive Manager
Welmon Speed
Welmon retired from NASA after nearly 40 years of service in 2017. He has extensive experience in the engineering and project management arenas.
For the next four years he provided math tutoring services part-time for SSS at Eastern Florida State College (EFSC) and the general tutor team at Valencia College (East Campus). In August 2021 he was promoted to Assistant Director of the SSS Program at EFSC.
He is committed to providing exemplary leadership with an extremely positive mindset; and attribute his success to God and the role models who inspired and encouraged him by sharing their wisdom and life experiences. He also believes in empowering and motivating others to reach their full potential. Welmon has been married for 35 years to Jerinae and have two adult children and four grandchildren.
In his spare time, Welmon enjoys scuba diving and traveling with his wife.
